Gale Carey

Walking France: One pilgrim’s story of 500 miles on the Chemin de St. Jacques.

This walk is the French portion of the Camino de Santiago, apparently much less heavily used than the Spanish portion. Gale discussed practical aspects of the trip, even showing us exactly what she carried on her back, down to the washcloth-sized bath towel! She also emphasized aesthetics (scenery and nature), friendships with other pilgrims, and opportunities for introspection, and she illustrated all with a PowerPoint of excellent photos and videos.
