Stories, Songs and Stretches® for Librarians

IMPORTANT: Parking in the church parking lot ONLY Please! Must bring your own yoga mat, water/beverage and lunch.
Day long training by Katie Scherrer. Let’s get intentional about bringing movement and stillness into storytime! This workshop focuses on the use of yoga as a tool to support and enhance the early literacy skill-building work that librarians are already doing by activating learning in the body and the heart.

All attendees will receive a free copy of Scherrer’s book Stories, Songs, and Stretches! Creating Playful Storytimes with Yoga and Movement.
Limited to 30 attendees…if you register and find you cannot attend–please let me know asap so another can enjoy this wonderful free workshop sponsored by Endowment for Health.
